Bowling This Month and Bowlers Journal are the two most common bowling magazines in the United States- there is also 7-10 Split Magazine from Canada. All provide reviews and tips along with other bowling information.
http://www.bowlingthismonth.com
http://www.bowlersjournal.com
I think Tim can provide the 7-10 Magazine link.

Bowling This Month is the best, by far, if you're interested in tips on technique, mental game, etc. If you're looking for a magazine geared more toward bowling news, Bowler's Journal is the one for you.

BTM says it is "the technical magazine for high average bowlers," and it says "Bowling This Month delivers the comprehensive information and instruction to help you bowl better, whether you average 180 or 230."
I have a 163 average. Does this mean I'm not allowed to subscribe? Is this magazine too technical for me? Do they verify averages before they will allow me to subscribe?
Maybe somebody should start a "Beginners Bowling Monthly" or something for those of us that aren't that good yet!

Long Roller: I forgot to answer the question you posed. I love Bowling This Month much more than Bowlers Journal. The tips and reviews seem to be much more thorough with BTM versus other publications. Bowlers Journal tends to provide more of a general overview of the international bowling industry, whereas Bowling This Month focuses on instruction, lane play, mental game techniques and thorough reviews of the new equipment.
