goy myself in a spot here guys

Sept 3rd, I crashed my motorcycle. been in the hospital ever since. No mental  issues, broken bones is all. But some of them were exposed to air/dirt and have become infected. We are in stage #1 of 3 stage recovery after 2 weeks.

I am grateful that I have came thru this far with no complications other than the infections/broken bones.

There was no one else involved and there was  also no fault other than inexperience by anyone.

I would like to ask for your prayers in a speedy recovery, as I have high school bowling to coach in November and a new motorcycle to buy.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.  Good luck on a speedy recovery.  May I ask what the three stages of your recovery are going to be?

My prayers go out to you. You know thats wisdom to know to ask for prayer. God Bless you and my hopes are that you have a speedy recovery. Ive been in a few spots myself and the BIG GUY has always come through in spite of me smile.

Guys, i have never been much of a prayer guy, but I was doin 55 when i bit it with no helmet on. I was as alert when the ride came to an end as I am as I type this. Someone damned sure was watching over me.........

I will definately ride again.... never without protective clothing again though..... my jacket and jeans saved me.

Family is great to have but i need to talk thru these things they don't understand

I hope you do not have to switch bowling hands.  You can still coach but you may not be able to go as fast as they can. Baby steps, that is all you can expect, but set yourself small goals finally leading up to major one.

And I thought a 20 mph mountain bike crash was bad ... but I understand the importance of protective gear. (Fortunately, I was wearing mine, or it could have been much worse).

My advice - follow the therapy instructions to the "T", including icing and stretching. Work as hard as you can, but don't overdo it. The 2-6th weeks of therapy are the most important, and will determine how much you get back and how fast.

WOW 55 and no Helmet, somebody was watching out for. As a former rider my prayers are with you, and feel your pain.

  This is one reason I quit riding, got older, got a family, to many people depending on me, cant afford the risk of riding. Maybe when its just me and the wife I will get back to it. Best wishes, take care.
