Since I am on our local Women's board, I do know about our local association. We have a lease on our office as does the Men's association. The local YABA works out of the secretary's home.
When the associations merge, it is looking very good that by this time next year we will be merged or finalizing the merger, they will have to decide on a location. Both the men and women's association offices have leases that will be up sometime next year. The location for the women is less costly, but with the 5 centers in LA, it is not as convenient as the men's location.
Right now our Women's Association finances are in good shape. The Men are financially in good shape also. The question is regarding the local YABA, there is a possibility they have some tax issues that will need to be resolved before any merger.
