Still think if women are allowed to continue women's only events, then men should have the exact same right. Its all about equality right?

I think women wouldnt mind if they made all competitions male and female. You might get a few that will complain similar to men that complain , however if you remove all the gender from bowling people will get used to it like anything else in the sport.

It should be, but it isn't.

We have a local tournament where even the handicap is adjusted for women.

Women get 90% of 220 with a maximum handicap of 400
Men get 80% of 220 with a maximum handicap of 250

This is a five game tournament, needless to say, the females tend to do well in the cash list.

What I don't get is how hypocritical they all are.  They see it as sexism or being discriminated against, but they have their little hen house leagues, where it's "just the girls" and it's perfectly ok to keep the guys out of that, but if we want a mens league where just the guys can drink and hang out without getting nagged or waiting on some chick to bowl that's playing on her phone and not paying attention, that's sexist.  Let them bowl our tournaments, I really don't care.  If they can compete, let them.  But don't come at it from that "fair" angle, but then if I wanted to go bowl the womens Open Championships, no way in hell I'd get admitted.  Why not?  Trying to be "fair" here aren't we?

First, lets not forget that as a group man are better bowlers than women.  There are a lot of women bowlers who can compete with the men, but they are the extreme outliers, not the norm.  We have limits on divisions to protect those in the lower division.  I have no problem with letting the women bowl in the mens tournament if they want.  For the life of me I can't understand the argument against it.  All I hear is guys saying that men should then be able to bowl in the womens tournament.  Every sport that has divisions allows players from the lower division to step up in class, but not to drop down.  I am 65 years old, and I can bowl against the kids if I want, but they can't bowl against me in a senior only tourney.  I don't see anyone arguing against that one way street.

I currently bowl in a men's league.  At least in this league, the men aren't "afraid" to bowl against women.  They simply don't want to have women in their league.  They want to have a men's night of bowling.  I personally feel it is antiquated, but it is also a decent league.

I have a few leagues that are the same way.  Every year the Sec. has to remind guys even though we have a strong group of women bowlers many that have teams that out average some mens teams.  They cannot sub or be regulars.

I've done plenty of tourneys having a lady on my team and cashing.  If they are good on the conditions/house the normal issue is if they are free on that day.

Well and your first statement is in and of itself one of their gripes.  They think everything should be fair and equal, and that statement is neither.  It IS however, true.  There's a lot of women that are better than a significant amount of men, but by and large, like you said, the men are better.  I have no desire to bowl in a women's tournament, but if they would argue it from a more logical, objective standpoint, I'd be ok with it.  It's just people using whatever angle they can to push their agenda.  Just like them wanting to be cops.  A 5'5" 135lb woman out in the field is nothing but a danger to themselves and everyone else.  It has NOTHING to do with gender, and EVERYTHING to do with size and ability.  I'm 6', but I'm a toothpick, no way in hell I should be a cop whether I wanted to or not unless I was pushing paperwork.  But nooo, they don't argue it like that, it's discrimination and sexism . . Come on people, we should be smarter than this by now.  This is teenage high school stuff.
