Balltrack"s of the Pro's
« on: November 24, 2009, 03:49:16 AM »
Hello ,New to this forum and a great one at that.
The question I have is, do most of the high rev players
track near the thumb hole to achieve a pap of 5 inches
and is the track parallel with the centerline of the grip?
                                                thanks

Welcome to the forum. Ill venture some response however others will certianly provide there points of view. That is one thing about being on here... everyone has opinions and I have learned much.

Tracks are a result of release. Releases are as different as people. Tracks are hardly ever parrallel to centerline. And typically, distance from fingers is greater than distance from thumb. However, there are those that have inverted tracks (which are farther from the thumb and closer to the fingers). As I said, everyone is different plus somewhat adjustable.

I hope this helps.

My PAP is 4 over and 3/8 up, but my rev rate is over 500. Pin-chaser is correct, each person is different.

Thank you pin chaser and no revs for the reply. It seems like on T.V. you
can never quite see the track rings. I did however notice on Storm's website
Rhino's track seemed really low? Seems the higher the track for me the better
I carry, but when the midlane burns up I have to shell down or lower my track.
                                               thanks for the insite.

MY rev rate is 350 - 400 with an 11.75" track diameter 5.75 x 1" up.... that equates to alot of urface touching the lane.
