best ball for the usbc "white" pattern?
« on: February 18, 2011, 11:31:28 AM »
I'm a med-high speed player with med-high revs and I'm looking to find a ball that will give me decent length with a good backend motion on the white pattern. I've never bowled on it before, so any input on what to expect would be nice as well. For that matter any info on the pattern couldn't hurt. As far as manufacturers go, I'll throw pretty much anything, but would prefer to stay away from brunswick. Lmk what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

From my expierence, play to the right and break it down with surface. You can be "faked out" into starting too deep, dont. Surface and house traits may yield a different strategy, but, in general, stay to the right with surface.

I would use something weaker when I bowled on it in spring it played very dry. I started with morich craze drilled to be smooth off the spot and I still was about 18 at the arrows out too about five and the ball was screaming back.
