Not going this year (donating $ to State Tourney), but the proshop in either house will give you an honest report. But remember this is like asking a local for directions when you are lost on the road.

Bowling mid April.  Lanes should be the same as always, except that there will be fresh oil for every squad.  Team house should be much more bearable, and scores should be lower for singles and doubles.  Fresh oil may not excite many people, but it excites me.  May not score super great on fresh, but I usually manage to do better than everyone else, and that's all that matters in tournaments.  When are you going?

If I had known there was going to be fresh oil every squad I would have made more of an effort to make it....

I go second week of April. Just talked to the guy leading all events after first weekend. He said there is not much out of bounds in singles and doubles he bowled second shift and said he threw a brutal nightmare from 20 anywhere right of ten. As for team he said they hooked more than normal and still had miss room right he used same ball for team as well. So it sounds like they softened them up a bit this year

Most likely softer because of the fresh shot . . I just happen to have a Brutal Nightmare with the intent of using it at Springfield, sounds good!

I just came from the GO website. It states that team will be rerun between squads, not minors (links to the graphs are provided). Usually someone throwing 20 to 10 in S & D will have 3 or 4 out. As for minors, it sounds like the house upped the volume in the center or decreased the volume on the rail. We normally shoot 3rd squad which is 4th or 5th arrow. I am somewhat recovering from tendonitis, so I have 7 weeks to heal before State Tourney. I will miss GO, but I am not physically able to go 6 games at this time. Good Luck - Lambert's is only a few minutes south.

Thanks for the info Weaser.  So only team is fresh oil . . well I still have a ball for S&D either way.  And yes, we will be hitting Lambert's, haha.  Love to head down to the landing at Branson too though, hoping brackets pay for it again this year . .
