I only know of one person that wears one.  He's a regional pba member and a hammer staffer.  He said that he wasn't sure about it before he bought it...but since he feels more relaxed and can concentrate better.  Neither of know if it's a placebo effect but he swears by it now.

I'm as open minded as anyone and have defended the Q-Link in many threads.


That being said... the science isn't there to justify many of the claims I've read.  A couple of the studies on the site are by flaky sources and one person reported that one of the authors had a vested interest in the success of Q-Link.

Magnets were the rage back in the day.  There was science to back it up too.  Then someone leaked that the science was misleading... it took magnets the size of a small building to make a difference, but of course people were buying bracelets with magnets half the size of a dime.  Magnetic bracelets have been debunked many times since then.

I have to assume the same with the Q-Link.  Maybe the science is legit... but I have a hard time accepting the fact that such a small item could impact the size and complexities of the human body.  

If you read their literature, it says that the pendant gets "in tune" with the body and therefore should not be shared with anyone.  That reeks of maketing scam to me. I do NOT accept the idea that a piece of "programmed" metal changes its characteristics on its own.  

By the way... they are on eBay.  There is a reseller that claims to be the only authorized reseller.  These are refurbs... people returned them and the pendants were "reprogrammed".

I dunno guys... I just don't know.

I bought a Qlink last year during bowling season, and I have an open mind about it.  I wore it for months and I cannot say that it did anything noticeable for me.  I quit wearing it a couple months ago, and again did not notice any difference.  I'll start wearing it again for awhile and see what happens.

I have a brother-in-law who is a national board certified acupuncturist and practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine.  He has a VERY open mind about stuff like this--excessively so in my opinion.  He is, in fact, predisposed to believe in anything health related that is new and untraditional.  He has been wearing a Qlink, and even he has to admit that it has done nothing for him.  He says, however, that he has patients who have tried Qlinks and who have claimed significant results.

I guess it doesn't really matter if your results have any scientific basis or if it's all in your head.  The main thing is that if it makes you feel better and more productive it was worth the money.  For me, the money could have been better spent; but I waste more than that on bowling balls all the time.
