All I can say is Wow!... I have never choked the way I did in league last night... I shot 198, 169, 180... I shot 772 last week...LOL...Someone please tell me I'm not alone here... Every ounce of confidence I had went flying out the window...Ah Well... I honestly think I just put to much pressure on myself, I'm going to go in alittle more laid back next week...I just had to vent my frustrations...

That's it dude! Too much pressure! I do that all the time I'll shoot a SOLID 600(630+), think I have it all figured out, then I make like 1 or 2 bad shots, and my confidence is SCREWED for at least 2 weeks, till I get so pissed, that I just don't care, then BOOM another solid night!
It's a VICIOUS cycle for me. I have the skills, just not the mental power to apply them every week!

That would really depend on your average.  If you average 230, then yeah you bowled bad (maybe choked) but if you average 190 maybe not.  Unless you're Jeff Carter, you can't expect to shoot 770 every night.

Do the math and determine whether or not you really choked or were just a standard deviation or two away from your average.

Bowlitup---I completely agree.. I seem to do that every time I have a great week.. I put pressure on myself and feel I have to live up to the week before.. Plus there is the law of averages... So with both of those working against me I know I'm going to have a bad week here and there..
