I met the "famous" BrunsNick
« on: September 27, 2007, 12:55:18 AM »
'Monring All,

I just got back from Lancaster, CA and while I was there I drove about 30 minutes to Santa Clarita Lanes to meet BrunsNick and some of the gang. While I didn't roll any, I enjoyed my quick visit. Nick's cool. Thanks for humoring me while I stood in the shop.

Last time I bowled at Sands in Lancaster and Vista in Palmdale, I remembered what it was like to be able to cover the whole lane again. Even with my "monster" revs

Sands is kind of a hole compared to our center. I get a lot of customers from up in that area, and my Haus machine is always humming with resurfacing!

Good meeting you Ken, thank you for not deleting all the memories with your MIB pen.

Sands still has that 70s feel to it. And I'm not sure thats a good thing. Last year when I bowled a few at Vista, I showed up with an Absolute and a Desert Heat and could pretty much stand left and wheel right with either. Was quite refreshing from the ol yank it up 10 around here.

I'll see about making a trip down to The House of Nick next time I am down there, assuming I don't just drive by on my way to Magic Mountain instead
