Terrifying PBA exp night
« on: May 07, 2008, 01:11:19 AM »
We had our first night of PBA Experience leagues last night and it was terrifying This is my Third or fourth  season bowling on them so I am pretty experienced and one house puts two different ones down every day in summer for us to practice.

Viper last night started playing 14 to 8 had a good look but wasn't carrying very well fought and scratched to 176, changed balls with the break down and went left accordingly still couldn't get anything to happen opened in the ninth and tenth for about 160 terrible. Moved pairs and started really experimenting with different lines and shots rev rates and axis tilts and found nothing.

Disappointed with my bowling not mad Disappointed I feel i could have bowled so much better the line was right their just had no luck. Sorry for the rant just had to vent

I will say that having bowled on the Viper, Shark, and Cheatah, possibly the Chameleon(Rumor spread that this was the pattern at a certain tournament recently), the Cheatah is just not cool.  I haven't bowled on the Scorpion but the Viper is closest to the Cheatah right?  I've bowled 130s and 140s on the Cheatah a year ago and then shot 300 2 games later.  Within the last month I bowled on the Viper and the Cheatah for 3-4 games and I will say the Viper is more fun and the Cheatah is really picky.

I'm willing to bet ball choice will determine your success on this pattern if you're playing it right.  My Twisted Fury wouldn't find the pocket, simple as that.  If it did it would be too high to too light to carry.  I move a board in with my Rival and I have a much better look(broken down at this point).
