Does anybody find there release to be cleaner with no grips of do you guys use lifts? What do you guys prefer?

I prefer no grips. Cleaner and more consistant for me. I don't have to worry about grabbing the ball at the bottom.

Personally, I prefer the feeling of no grips and I think you get a cleaner release. I can't go no grips though, because it's always torn up the sides of my fingers. I know for most the opposite is true in terms of finger wear. I just use the oval vise finger grips and it feels the same.

If you going from the power lifts to ovals though, it will feel like your losing the ball at the bottom, but you'll see that the ball still hooks the same and you experience a heck of a lot less grab. It's a better combo for tough patterns.

I liked having no grips but when I will bowl a large block of games my finger tips would get burn marks on them.(Indian burns from the ball)  So I went back to grips.

So its  a fact that ovals are smoother than lifts? I was just curious because sometimes it feels good off my hand and other times it doesnt. It could be my thumb hole since I like it tight.

I use no grips or bevel I use a slug in then just 3 holes. With know problens with burnt fingers or tearing them up.
