Habits, superstitions, etc.

Thought it might be interesting to see what habits, superstitions, rituals, etc people have when bowling.  Stuff like good luck charms, certain routines, etc.

I don't think I really have anything other than I can't bowl with keys in my pocket.  Doesn't matter if I'm wearing jeans, shorts, or slacks, just can't bowl with keys in my pocket.  Just about the only thing I can keep in my pocket is Chap Stick (I'm addicted to that stuff) - don't really even like to keep money in my pocket (bills go in the wallet and change goes in the bowling bag or my shoes with the keys (non bowling shoes of course!).

Wedding ring in "condom" pocket of jeans; front pockets empty; no watch; sit in the same spot; tap the holes with grip sack; spin 2 to 3 times to wipe off excess and track oil.

I am similar... pockets empty except for a tissue. Wristwatch off. We are doing sports here, and I do not likle getting hurt by myself.
Additionally, a polo shirt is a must for free movement.
And I always need my micro fibre towel to wipe off the balls before each frame. It is part of my routine, and without I think I'd be seriously hampered

I have a friend for every tourney he puts a 5 dollar bill in his bowling right bowling shoe.  Well he is a lefty so he is weird any way. lol He does it bcuz after his first tourney that he won he had a bill in his shoe so he leaves it ther ever since.
