I need some help from bowlers that know the newer equipment. I recently bowled in our city tourney and on saturday experienced dry lanes where i killed them with an old factory polished blue hammer, drilled axis, with less than 1 oz of top wt to start (it came right off the PBA truck 15 years ago). The next day, our lanes were so oily that the strongest ball I have, a slightly polished green messenger, took out the 10 playing the same line. It didnt matter what or how you threw, the ball backed up. Crankers could not get the ball to move on my pair. Anyway, I am looking for a strong reacting ball with a symmetrical weight block that I can manipulate to roll even on my axis, basically getting an early arcing roll. I'm averaging 220, medium revs and typically throw the ball at 15.5mph. This wont be my everyday ball, but for oily conditions. I need some suggestions.
