Title: Hambone - which one do you like?
Post by: mumzie on June 19, 2008, 06:03:39 AM: We currently have two different hambone designs. We are "discussing" which one we like - I like one, my partner likes the other. I'm thinking of putting both on the website.

Post by: dicnic on June 19, 2008, 04:05:16 PM: I kinda like the first one with the entire ham on it, but it is NOT as true a representative of a Hambone. Actually, if you took the bone out of the ham in the first picture, it would NOT look like the bone in the #2 picture. Hams, as we procure them in a store (the most familiar arrangement) do NOT have a knuckle on both ends as the butcher cuts off the leg part before we ever see it.

Of course, I am being picky as old retired engineers are wont to do. So I am torn between the two. The first is nicer so I guess I vote for it.
