sport league honor score

Please excuse me while I do a little chest thumping.  I just returned from my sport league tonight after shooting an honor score.  I had an 803 series with games of 276-269-258.  The pattern was approximately 45' of oil.  I was using a BVP Goliath.

Interesting the next high series in the league was 633.  It was just my night.

CPA, I hate to be the one to tell you this.

The honor score will not be allowed.  

Turns out that the gutters are 1/4" too low on the left channel of the right lane.  The ABC had told the propietor several times about this rule infraction (Rule 31(a).3-lane dimension and specification tolerances)but failed to rectify the concern.  The city bowling association will be filing a formal grievance on your behalf, but, it will be some time until both sides have their opportunities to voice each side of the story.  Please, be patient.
