Title: Hamtramck anyone?
Post by: REVOLUTIONS PS on February 04, 2004, 06:08:17 AM
I was just wondering if any of you Michigan area bowlers are planning to bowl in the Hamtramck event?  I am heading over on the 27th of this month.  I have bowled two other times in past years...I am looking for some different thoughts about the best way to attack the condition...

Jeffrevs, thanks....Hamtramck...got it!

Michbowling & XXL:  I did not really see the shot as difficult for sure but the carry did seem to be the issue for most people.  It looked to me like light hits carried better that flush in the hole.

Jeff,
Sorry things kinda got hectic over the holidays.I am bowling on the 13th of March. This is a money squad, side pots usually $200 + per game, along with the standard pots.I have 10 people in my group so far.The squad usually fills the house. All are welcome. If interested let me know and we can do details.
PS as far as lane condition the house is synthetic, stripped and oiled before each squad. My best scores have come using reactive equipment.Wicked,Lane 1 raspberry,Spirit,Lane 1 Carbide are some examples. The shot is competive but you are crossing lanes so carry down becomes a factor in the third and fourth games.I have cashed throwing up the boards with tame equipment and swinging with strong stuff.Accuracy and the ability to read the lane quickly are bigger factors than equipment.
The tourny is organized and well run.House pots are handicap each game and totals plus brackets.Doubles and scratch tourny entrys are optional.
