GREATEST TRICK SHOT EVER!!!!!!!!

Ok, so my center puts out the following nights PBA League Pattern on Monday Nights for practice. Its a real sweet deal, 5 dollars a person for 2 hours.

This week the pattern was the Shark.

Ok so I bowled for a little bit and threw a highly errant shot, and I chopped the 6-9 out of a full rack, a 2 count.

Thats not even the best part, after seeing that, I said to the people I was bowling with, "imagine if I can do that again", and in the second ball of that frame I put the ball in the exact same spot, going right into the hole where the 6-9 should be. I went 2- for the frame leaving both corner pins standing and not putting the ball in the gutter, it was by far the greatest thing ive ever seen or done.

lmao if I was in a tournament I wouldnt have tried to repeat it lmao. Doing it once I can see, getting a little lucky, but to put the ball in between the 3 pin and the 10 pin twice in a row is absurd lmao.

Hey Prince... I have baked balls off and on for a while now and one day I was doing a friends when I said hummmmmmmmmm. I will stick this thing on broil at a low temperature so the oil can just run down the ball. I just had this great vision of working better than being on bake. It was a Supreme Justice(AMF). I told myself I will check it in a couple minutes to make sure its ok. I open the door and it was on fire!!!


 I blew it out as fast as I could but it left a place on that ball about 4-5 inches thick and 4-5 inches wide full of cracks and all shades or brown and yellow. I took the 120 grit sand paper to that spot and after seeing it was a gonner I was worried sick. Good thing cause when I told him about it he didnt mind for it was worn out anyways...

 Sorry Im off subject I just had to tell that one. Make sure not to BROIL THE BALLS hehe, John

You're not supposed to close the door for broil.  Otherwise, that might have worked.

From what I've heard, someone HAS shot a 292. I remember hearing a story about a gentleman wanting every score from 290-300 and after like 6-7 years, finally got it. But then, thats just what i've heard, no proof. Might be worth checking with USBC about....

I will give you that 292 is probably the HARDEST game in bowling to bowl.

292 is definately the hardest game in bowling to bowl, only because its so hard to get a 2 count. The only way of doing it is the 6-9, or the 4-8.


My next trick shot I would like to take the 3 5 8 out of a full rack.
Ive taken the 3-5 out of a 1-3-5-6, but out of a full rack that would be pretty sick.

Tenpin,

I was on lanes 11 and 12. I went 169, 198, 206, 228, 237 and 258. The shot broke down very nicely with only very small moves necessary to hold pocket.

From what I understand, as of 2007-08, there have been 11 sanctioned 292's.

i was wondering if anybody had ever shot 292
as for me im lefty and ive gotten the 4-8 out of a full rack enough times that i dont fee like counting lol... but ive NEVER went back through the same hole.

lmao, it was pretty crazy to watch.

Nelson, I was kind of messing around after awhile, and when I saw I took out the 6-9 i took advantage of it lol.


Granted the second time I did try to put it back through the hole, but to actually do it was pretty insane.

I remember one time in league I started off with back to back 225's then the next game 3 in a row, 5 straight splits, then the 9th and 10th frame I left back to back 6-10's and went between them lol. I ended that game with like a 140.

I know your excited man, but everytime I bowl a tournament or practice on a Sport or PBA pattern I almost always see someone do that, maybe not twice but it happens quite frequently.

I did that in the first Sport league I bowled in.  Only I went through the 3-pin.  I don't remember how many pins I got, it wasn't just two, but I put the second ball through the same hole.  Wiggled the 1 and the 6 just a little.

I have taken out the 6 9 in practice and went back through it the next shot with a different ball. I used the old Columbia Orange and Green messengers for the trick.

Taking off the 48 or the 69 is not the only way to get a 2 count. People throwing a straight ball can chop off the 6 10 or the 4 7. I have also seen a few times people take the 7 10 off a full rack. Now those ones are alot harder, but there are other ways.

Oh and I can't forget about the little bumper bowler that took the 1 5 off a full rack. I love watching little kids bowl, they leave the greatest things!
