For those of you who aren't in the know, mr Knaubloch was a good defensive second baseman for the yankees who after a few throwing errors developed such a mental block he couldn't throw to first base. cost him his career.
I've bowled competetively outside of leagues for the first time in 3 years twice in the past month. I find myself babying the ball, lower ball speed, and a LOT more inconsistency. Although I made the cut in the first sweeper I ever bowled, the cut scorew wasn't impressive and I threw a very unimpressive game to lose in the first round.
I don't have a problem shooting spares it doesn't seem like. My real problem is throwing the stirke ball. picked up a beast pearl mica drilled conservatively and i can now play deep inside, a God send...BUT, i'm still babying the ball...maybe I need to slow down the approach, or take smaller steps, but something's gotta give or I'm not going to be much of a competitor.
any helps?
thanks.
