Was bowling in my Tuesday night handicap league that I bowl with my wife, this past week, and had something interesting happen. I have been drilling equipment for me and my wife for the past year and a half or so, and after some trial and error, and lessons learned, I feel I have been getting our grips better, and am matching layouts to our games better as well. I had just drilled the 505A I got her for Christmas, and she found a nice line with it and shot 222 the game before, and was on her way to a 190-ish game the last game when a bowler on the next pair over said he really liked the ball reaction she was getting, and asked who drilled her equipment. She pointed over to me and explained I did, and he walked over and asked if I would drill a ball to give him the same reaction she was getting (now I know what pro shop operators must hear several times a month, lol). I told him I hadn't drilled equipment for anyone but us yet, but would be willing to try. Will be talking to him this Tuesday more about it, and hopefully I have progressed enough that I would do a good job for him as well.
