1-2-4-6-10
« on: January 13, 2004, 04:23:24 PM »
When I get a little amped and push it right, I'll leave this sometimes,...I've left it twice this year, and picked it up both times !

However, ..and this may not be new to a lot of you, but I pick up my spare ball and hit the right side of the head pin and let the ball deflect into the 6-10!

2 for 2 doing it like that !

How would you approach this one ?

I pick it up just like a wash out seeing as I don't use a spare ball.

I also use my strike ball and cross over.

I always fear I'll throw the exact same ball and get a 0 going right in between.

As one of my teammates says..."Now THAT'S hard to do."

Yeah, but I have seen it done.  We had a good laugh about it.

This is EXACTLY what happened to one of the power players on my Thursday league last week.  The look on her face was so funny.  She threw her arms up in the air and I said "Too bad you don't get any accuracy points!"

With my speed sometimes I throw it through the breakpoint and leave it quite often.  I just move my feet 5 boards right and throw my strike shot and I pick it up just about every time.

People always think that was pretty good.

Hell if you leave anything enough times you get to practice it enough to figure it out.

I prefer to shoot the 1-2-4-6-10 on the right as well.  It is easy enough to wrap around the 10 on a simple washout but with the 6 added, it only makes sense to play it like a baby split.

I don't know since I never got the chance to make since I left it for my 295.  Damn sticky approaches.

It really depends on how well I am shotting spares that night. Most of the time it is the spare ball used usually into the 1-2 sometimes on the right side of the 1 to deflect into the 6-10. I go back and forth on it can usually pick it up either way when I leave it.
