Yup, Mrs.Revs surprised me with 2 professional lessons for Christmas. Number one was today. Same coach as she has seen a couple times and learned a ton and loved it!
Well,...my cadence/tempo changed, I have a free armswing, my release is smooth because of my armswing, my revs are (maybe a little better)
, (funny thing is, is that I discovered the free armswing allows you or helps you to relase the ball better, you know, nice early thumb followed by fingers=....you guessed it,...better revs. I don't HAVE to hit the ball, I shouldn't hit the ball, (cuz when I do,...I squeeze it...not good)...anyhow....everything just feels great!
I was nervous at first because I knew my approach needed help. And I was concerned that my steps or cadence would be changed and I didn't think I'd be able to do that cuz it's been "this way" for so long,...but I did, and it was EASIER, soooo much easier than before ! First, I was put on the video,...UGH, Jeeez,...I suck! How ugly is that!!??
Then just before the end of session, I was taped again...100% better ...smooth, balanced, like a different person !! I looked kinda like a right handed 5 step Parker Bohn III (well,...you get the idea
)
Anyhow, I just wanted to share! I'm extactic !!!! I can't believe I used to bowl like I did! I thought I was pretty relaxed before...yeah, right ! LOL
Anyhow......can't wait to throw again...it's like a revalation!
