Has anyone else dealt with Valentino Bowling products
« on: April 29, 2009, 09:07:33 AM »
They have to be the best business company I've ever dealt with, including Lane 1 and Buddies Pro shop, though both of them are also tremendous.

I ordered something from them at 11:30 AM went bowling and when I came home, I had five emails from Valentino Bowling.

One said, we recieved your order, the second said we received your money, the third said the order was being prepared and the fourth said the order was ready for shipping and the fifth said the order has been shipped and here is your shipping doc number.

Is that great customer service or what?

I deal with them everyday, lol.

Our number one priority is to get the product shipped out that day or next day! Occasionally we hit some hiccups, but try very hard to get out orders ASAP.

Thank you for the compliments!

I bought a sample 8 oz bottle of their ball cleaner. I received all the Email you speak of .. was very impressed.

Used the cleaner (REMEDY) and didn't think too much of it. THEN I ran out of my preferred cleaner and PRESTO .. Their cleaner IS GREAT! Probable BETTER then my preferred .. naturally I ordered a 32 oz bottle of my preferred .. looks like I'll have enough now for a while.

Their REMEDY is SUPER!

Their Remedy is great.  I just ordered some UFO to try it.  I also have the Snake oil thats great, but I really don't have an understanding of the Resurrection.  Maybe I'm not using it properly.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Their service is excellent as wellas their products. I love the remedy RX, Resurrecrion, Snake Oil & Franken Tape. Not one bad product in the bunch.

I SWEAR by FrankenTape.  I'm so very picky about how my thumbhole feels, and the thin strips of tape let me really fine-tune the fit.  Also, Snake Oil is my favorite polish, because it seems to work well with being applied by hand to get that clean look through the heads, but the ball can still pick up in the midlane a good amount.  I just love that kind of reaction.  Also, the Remedy RX cleaner is really effective.  Now, I just need to try some UFO polish sometime soon...

Resurrection is great for getting a nice, deep cleaning and since it has abrasives, it'll give you fresh surface on your ball.  If you use Resurrection by hand, you'll get a pretty dull surface (it's around 800 grit I believe?  Can you clarify that, Kevin?).  If you use it on a spinner, you can get more of a light shine.  Either way, this underlying grit is a great matchup with Snake Oil in my opinion.

Remedy does not do anything for me. I still have oil rings on my ball after using. I guess I must be doing something wrong. I really like Clean and Dull cause that cleans.

Are you sure you don't just have a spray bottle filled with water by mistake?  Seriously though, Remedy leaves my ball feeling super-tacky.  All I have to do is spray it on, let it sit on the ball for a few seconds, then wipe it all down.  Presto, the cover is nice and oil-free and feels tacky like it did out of the box.  I only need to use Clean and Dull (a different kind of cleaner, since you need to have a damp towel to wipe off the residue) once a month or so to get all the really nasty stuff out of the pores and whatnot.

Master .. as I said earlier .. I was not initially impressed with REMEDY either! Thought it did NOTHING! Then when I HAD TO USE IT .. I found it did a GREAT JOB! I spray my CLEANING RAG and then wipe the ball down (a little different then the prescribed method) and I look at the rag after wiping .. seem to do a better job then what I call my preferred cleaner. I'm happy with it .. perhaps you will be also with continued use .. good luck!
