Still in the hospital recovering from a motorcycle accident that I posted about 2 weeks ago asking for prayers. I have started to heal and have fought off the infection. Thats all good news.... so I was laying here in bed today around noonish, and the local center owners daughter walks into the room to visit me. (I know her from working with the youth program.) We talk for a bit and I ask her if she came just to visit me, she said no I am visiting my dad. (the center owner.) Turns out he came in for tests today, and ended up in the hospital, he has leukemia (sp) in his blood....yeow........So in addition to continued prayer for me I ask that since I seem to be outta the woods you transfer a goodly amount of the prayer directed at me towar him and his daughter. In addition to what they just found out today, he lost his wife of almost 50 years just 6 months ago. He and I have never seen eye to eye on a lot of things and he even tossed me out of his center a few years back, but in the last few years I have done a ton of maturing and we had seemed to turn a new leaf over in our lives and had become decent friends in spite of our earlier differences. This is a lot for me to digest with all that is going on with me at this time. His daughter snapped a picture of us in our hospital garb and I think it may be the last picture of him they ever get......... so renew all the prayers that you guys had put out for me!!!!
