Has Lane 1 taken over GripLoc interchangeable thumb system

I have used his system for 4 years because it served my
needs and the cost was reasonable.
Today i went on there site to order some thumb sleeves
and it looks like the lane 1 web site.
The real Kicker here is that the prices have more
then doubled since march of this year.
One outer sleeve and one insert sold for $10.oo in
march, now they sell for $29.00.
Now i may go with one of the thumb mold systems.

I found the same thing.

I was looking to go to griploc in some new equipment...but at the new prices I don't think so.

and don't forget that the system was updated a couple of years ago and the new stuff isn't compatible with the old sleeves/inserts.

It's much cheaper to go to a mold system...and I can make molds that will fit in the 1 3/8 size to replace the old griploc sleeve.

Lane#1 has aquired the Grip Lock interchangeable thumb system. As far as the pricing is concerned. There really isn't that much difference wholesale for shops. The posted prices on Lane#1's website are for retail customers.

God I hate Lane #1 so much. I will never buy anything Lane #1 ever again and that includes your sauce, Beans...I know that probably doesn't mean much to you as I've only bought 1 bottle and that was a long time ago, but it is what it is. Nothing personal against you, I just hate the way they do business, marketing especially. Hopefully this bad economy causes them to fold.
