Another 7 pin?!?!?!?!?
« on: January 28, 2004, 06:25:08 AM »
I've noticed the past few weeks that on what I consider to be solid pocket hits I'm leaving alot of 7 pins.  I would almost bet I'm leaving more 7's than I am 10's ( I am a righty by the way )

What causes a good shot to leave a 7 pin and is there any small changes that will help to carry that corner?

All help would be appreciated!

You might be coming in on too much entry angle. Coming in to steep and blowing all the rest around the 7. Also could be coming in light, just looks like its a good hit. Have someone stand on the next lane or 2 down and watch. Always helps.

Sometimes the pin spotting in some racks can be off as well. I have seen many nights where more righties leave 7 pins then 10 pins, and I watch the 5 pin come in front of the 7 pin and the 4 pin be blown straight into the gutter.
