Have you ever bowled in one of these houses???
« on: December 12, 2006, 12:49:35 PM »
Ok, bowled in a different house for the first time tonight. The easiest part about this house was hitting the pocket. I never missed the pocket, 3 games, never missed, with a high game of 192. I left everything from 7 pins, to 10 pins, to 7-10 to splits to back row, you name it. It was actually kind of interesting, you couldn't miss the pocket if you tried, but striking was so difficult. I was just wondering how many of you have had this expierience and your thoughts. My girl who was watching me bowl said I looked better than I have ever looked, with a 192 to show for it...LOL... Ahhh well, at least my form looked good...LOL

I got my second 900 last week while pre-bowling. NOW, prove that I didn't do it!

It's not much but it's a start

I bowled a tournament this past weekend that was just like that. I felt great but had little to show for it.

Yeah it happens sometimes, you just gotta find the right ball reaction and/or line and you'll kill it i'm sure.

When that happens try hitting a light pocket and watch them fight.

How many spares were converted?  There are a lot of corners left in my home center but the key is converting them to keep the big games.

Sounds like a house I bowl at. Last year they had the usual house cake shot but, it was hard to carry. This year it is a harder shot and it is still hard to carry. The difference in the shot this year has dropped averages by 20+ pins on average.

That is my house exactly.  195 the other night clean game.  It's real easy to go xx 4-9 xx ten pin at home.
