Have You Heard of This?
« on: March 11, 2009, 11:42:29 AM »
Yesterday, I was in need of some tape to put in the back of my thumb hole.  I like having a slicker tape in the back to help come out the ball quicker and cleaner (and to avoid thumb destruction).  The pro-shop guy sold me one piece of "Shur-Out."  It's AMAZING...and I want more.  I can't find this anywhere on the web at all...have you heard of it?  Anybody know where I can get some?  The bag it came in says it's from Ace Mitchell's House of Champions in Akron, Ohio.  I checked their site, but I couldn't find it there either.

From the best of my knowledge, pro shops get this directly from the distributor Ace Mitchell.  Since regular customers can't purchase from Ace Mitchell, most of their products aren't online for those who aren't pro shops to see.  I would suggest having your pro shop just order it for you directly because it's pretty hard to get otherwise.

Nah, it wasn't the last.  He had a good amount left, I just wanted to try one before I bought 10 more, ya know?

But thanks for the info gtk, I'll definitely ask him to order me a bunch.  Woo new toy!
