gg, the only problem with heavy oil balls is that they don't do well outside that condition. For example, I have a Scorchin Inferno that pukes on anything other than heavy. If I throw it on a medium condition, it flames out about halfway.

I see you have a Rule Delta 1. This should be fine although I've heard that a few people couldn't get it to move either.

I would highly recommend a Wizard with the PK18 cover that you can adjust to the conditions of the lanes you bowl on. It comes out with 800 grit wetsand from the box, but is very adjustable.

Keep looking... I'm sure there's a 300 in one of those balls you keep buying!!

Medium Heavy would be perfect. You dont ALWAYS have to play the same shot. If your right handed move right play tight. If you have to swing the ball then swing the ball.

The other day I went bowling and there was alot of carrydown. I had to move one step up, move far right, and adjust my hand position to throw my Doom. After about 3-4 games I could slowly move left and get back into my normal approach. I ended up bowling about 20 games on the same pair before I had to get to deep.

In bowling you have to make the adjustments yourself and not expect the ball to do everything for you. Buy something thats versatile but not for heavy, and just try some new things you might not be use to and make yourself more versatile. It will come handy some day. Hope this helps.

The InSite SuperNatural is great OOB for heavy and medium-heavy oil. The cover can be tuned for medium conditions very easily.

Let me give you what you actually asked for:

1) Lane 1 Super Carbide Bomb (There are only a few left out there)
2) Visionary AMB Centaur Particle
3) Morich Awesome Hook
4) Legends World Class Particle
5) Roto-Grip Epic Battle

Just my opinion for the really heavy stuff. Anything less and I say a Lane 1 Solid Uranium.

For heavy oil...if you can still find one NIB the Rule GP2 is the best FAR and AWAY!

Here is another list of very good heavy oil balls:

MoRich Total Shock and Awe
Roto Grip Epic Battle
Dynothane Threshold
Track Mean Machine
Ebonite Infinite One

these are in no particular order

so i think we have deduced that a heavy oil ball isnt for me. so now its medium heavy which can be adjusted easily for medium and heavy conditions.

right what suggestions do we have?

i ask about the big blue pearl because i think it looks great going down the lane. i like that aswell!

Even a Strike Zone. That can work well on heavy oil.

The Strike Zone is a good one for medium-heavy.  It doesn't have as much go as some others in a true flood, but it doesn't puke as quickly when a line dries up.

The Hammer Black Widow.  It takes to surface adjustments very well.  OOB this ball is 4000 abralon and for me will handle medium heavy with easy.  The new Hammer No Mercy may fit what you are looking for as well.

no offense but a half solid half pearl ball and a pearl ball are never going to be oilers by any means, now with that said with some surface adjustments to the 44 Magnum to bring it to about 600 grit, it would handle just about any amount of oil most league bowlers ever come across
