For full rollers you don’t have a lot of options on the drilling.
You need a ball with a 3†to 4†pin and then place the pin at 7:30 with a label drill (assuming you are right handed). This will give the maximum amount of flare for a full roller.
If you are 3/4 roller then a stacked leverage ball would work best.
As far as balls go, any of the duller particle balls. Fear Factor, swamp monster, ebonite V2, throttle, full throttle, Track animal, etc.
Be careful with the duller balls. Most full rollers get into an early roll. Often you are better off with strong resin balls that are shined up so they save the energy for the backend.
Butch Soper should be able to tell you which would be best.
I have to say Butch was a great bowler but having him try and teach someone how to hook the ball is somewhat ironic. But teaching and doing are different things.
PS. Don't give up to quickly on the changes. You are likely to bowl worse for sometime before you get better.
