Heavy oil + Longer oil pattern ball

I need your opinions on which ball or balls would be best for heavy oil + longer oil patterns. Manufacturer does not matter. Thanks in advance for your help.

Heavy oil in a longer pattern?

Kinda a rarity. Usually you'd see your heavier oil in shorter patterns and vise versa...

Go with something that's got a strong coverstock with a medium finish (2000-4000 Abralon) on it, and drill it pin high.

Sounds like the job for an NVD or a Magic.

ON EDIT: this is assuming you have an ample amount of hand (350+ revs)

There's quite a few options.  Cell, Dimension, Resurgence, Ogre Particle, Maxxx Zone to name some.  They all are strong in the midlane but the Cell so far has been proven to be most versatile.

Mega-Friction (AMF)
Ogre Particle (Visionary)
Maxx Zone (Brunswick)
Dynamic Power (LaneMasters)
LevRG (MoRich)
Dynamo (Lane#1)

If you can't make one of these move on true heavy oil, see your nearest priest or rabbi.

The Columbia 300 Noize is a pretty good heavey oil ball at a very reasonable price. Takes surface adjustments well also!

On heavier longer patterns surface and layout are key.

Some balls that will help...Dimension, Virtual Gravity, Rogue Cell, Cell, T-Road Solid

NVD. Even when you take it down to 1000 grit it can still handle a ton of oil.

I looked at your suggestions, and i have been watching at the lanes. I really like the looks of the dimension, and will go with a 5x3. It will be my heavy oil ball for Nationals. Final thought's??? Again thanks guys.
