welcome to the boards! First thing you should know right off the bat, despite the trolls (people who come here to start crap and get attention), it really is a good site and you shouldn't let them ruin it for you. Again, welcome.

Hey, welcome aboard Supermo.  You may say you are going to ask us questions, but I have a feeling soon enough you'll be the one answering others' questions.

Hi again
Thank you for such a great welcome> I can see we are going to have some great banter on here.As for speaking to lingo, when we sent you over there you spoke the Queens English and drove on the right side of the road..lol.We did say lefties have the smoother ride..pity i'm right handed.Just a bit about my bowling i'm a stroker..well at my age i would be ...lol cant get that high backlift anymore. Have 5 strike balls 2 red Fuze's one drilled calm one to move a little, Ultimate Inferno for more oil and a couple of Storm Super Powers which i dont use to often. I havent got the power to use a dulled bowl and get it to finish strong. I was wondering what would be stronger than the polished fuze's which i have had great results for long time i know they are old balls, but looking for something for my style, a smooth arc that you think would be better

Supermo,

I'm surprised few of us taken this approach to greeting you (Hello!): if you've averaged 205 over the past 40 years, WE'LL BE ASKING YOU MORE QUESTIONS THAN YOU'LL BE ASKING US. Everyone can learn from one another here; leastwise that's the premise of this operation!

Welcome.

Hi Everyone just a few stats bout myself.
Age 60 started bowling 1961 ABC Tuebrook Liverpool.Didn't learn to much in the early yrs just a straight ball down the lane and hope nobody to tell us any different.Had a 10 yr break from 1980 to 1990. When i came back noticed a huge difference in ball technology and lane conditions..and wondered how the hell do these guys turn balls like this!!!!!. Well got back into it in a big way and promised my self i would get a 200 plus ave in 2 yrs.I DID!!! since then have tried to improve more. My usual shot is standing 2to5 boards left of middle out between 2nd an 3rd with a consistant arc. Speed about 16/17 mph dont get a lot of revs. Will move anywhere when i need to depending on conditions.Spares about 19 out of 20. Currently using 2 red Fuzes one drilled very calm the other for more backend
both highly polished. Got an Ultimate Infrno for heavier oil and a couple of Storm powers which come in really handy sometimes.Hope this helps when your giving me some advice

Supermo - welcome to the group.
One option for a ball that is stronger than the Fuze you mentioned is the Lane 1 Dirty Bomb.  A little pricey, but in my humble opinion it's one of the best hitting/most versatile balls on the market today.  You can find it at www.buddiesproshop.com - a real reputable website to purchase bowling equipment from, with a lot of good reviews from the folks here at ballreviews.
I'm sure you can get some additional ideas from the other good folks here online once they've read your profile.
Good luck in your search for a new ball and, again - welcome aboard.
