Keeping your head steady
« on: February 24, 2009, 01:42:03 PM »
I had my first lesson today using a video camera, man was I humbled. After seeing myself on camera I realized just how horrible my game looked. It turned out to be the best thing Ive ever done with my game. My biggest problem was that my head was moving up and down and all around my swing instead of keeping it steady. I worked on keeping my head steady for about 45 minutes or so and re taped myself. I'm not so embarrassed anymore about how I looked. Its amazing how keeping your head steady helps everything else come together. The ball felt different coming off my hand. I had effortless power and my acccuracy improved two fold. I highly recccommend getting a lesson with video to anyone who's serious about improving their game.
