About AWARDS from last year
« on: April 22, 2005, 06:38:00 PM »
Now that the ABC, or the American Bowling Congress, dissolved on Jan 1st and was replaced by the USBC I've got a situation on hand:

I shot 2 of the same honor score (2-800's) last year and got the FREE ring for the 1st one... and I shot the 2nd one about 6 months later and I never sent off for it. I know I will have to pay for it which it's only like 65.00.

Is it too late to get the award for the 2nd one since there's no more ABC? Or can I still send off and get my ring for the 2nd 800?

It's been about a year ago since my last 800 and I'm wondering if I'm too late to get anything for it?

Ric, I just got in a 299 ring the other day, and it still has the ABC design on it.  I'm wanting to do the same thing that you did....I shot a pair of 300 games last season, and I want to go back and pick up the second ring that I couldn't get as a freebie.  I'm going to call the ABC next week to see what I need to do to get my extra 300 ring, plus I need to pick up a second "11 Strikes In A Row" plaque too (I shot 2 of the back 11 strikes this season).
