what you have may be a lateral or medial epicondylitis, or tennis elbow. If you're gripping the ball too much as you bowl, this may be the cause of your elbow pain. But, other activities such as holding a hammer to hammer down nails can cause elbow pain. The tendon that attaches the bone and arm muscles may be affected.
You can try using a foream brace/strap, or tennis elbow band, I don't know what they call it. But any drug or sporting goods stores have them. I would also suggest you check the size of the thumb hole or your overall grip. If you squeeze too much and too often, you will develope tennis elbow.
