Help
« on: November 16, 2009, 12:33:14 PM »
So i have been feeling like i cant hold onto the ball, so i change my thumb pitch from an eight reverse and quarter lateral out to just three sixteenths forward. I still feel like im going to drop it except when i try to pry it off my hand at release point. Any suggestions?

i have no problem using tape but it does not help the situation at all. I have a couple pieces in there at the moment but i still feel like i cant hold onto it.

Sometimes it actualy will fall is i relax my hand completely, but when im just applying normal pressure i feel like im going to drop it.

Does your thumb hinge call for the 1/4 left (assuming you're right handed) lateral?  If not that could be your problem, excess left lateral can cause early release.  --  JohnP

yes my thumb hinge does call for the lateral out pitch, and i like a snug fit so i am not afraid to use tape so i would say the overall size of the thumbhole is not loose.
