Starting up again need ball advice
« on: September 06, 2014, 11:45:57 AM »
I am starting up bowling again after about 6 years. I am not up to date with what balls are good at the moment. My style is tweener and bowling around 2/3 arrow on a medium oil pattern. What ball would be good for me?? Previously was using a storm supercharge and an ebonite total nv!!

Many thanks

I also took about a 6 year hiatus. When I got back in it I asked my coach for advise and he recommended me a Hammer Black Widow Assassin. I've loved that ball. If possible you should go to a pro shop and have them evaluate you game as it may have changed over the years and let them give you their opinion. It might be better than asking the board. But my vote goes to the B.W. Assassin!!!

If you still have the supercharge and total nv, you may want to see if your pro shop can resurface the 2 balls and extract the oil out of them to restore the performance.

Otherwise I agree with EL3MCNEIL about having the pro shop look at your style and determine what is best.
