Had a pretty good night last night on the lanes.  house i'm averaging 190 at.  The shot is always really sloppy cause they don't oil the lanes for us or anything and we have to deal with the burnt out areas and lots of carrydown.  well last night it was the same as usual.  one lane the ball was rolling fine.  on the other lane the ball was hooking about 10 feet sooner and barely hitting the headpin.  made some adjustments before league started, and ended up rolling 227 first game.  finally made another adjustment the 2nd game and started nailing the pocket.  247 2nd game.  then another 247 the 3rd game.  the league high score was what else?? 248.  but o well.  i got high series with a 721.  and the only annoying thing about the night was that i was 1 frame away from a clean set.  and i was also 1 frame away from having a 900 (9 pin no tap).  just set the ball out on one shot and it caught oil, left me a 1,2.  so it was a fairly good night.
