help for a razor wire
« on: March 03, 2005, 04:51:08 AM »
I purchased a razor wire a couple of months
ago, I love the hitting power this ball has
(compared to my urethanes). However as a big
rever I have control trouble. It's drilled with
the pin under my ring finger, cg at the palm.
I've polished to the highest known to man.
What are the redrilling or modifications I
have?
thanks for the help

Whereas I love the ball but would never consider throwing it unless it is polished (see my review).

Phil1776 - When you say you have control trouble, I'm assuming you mean specifically with this ball?  Where is your PAP and how far does that pin placement put the pin from the PAP?  Pin in relation to the finger holes doesn't tell us much.

Instead of sanding, you could move your pin closer to your PAP or even on your PAP to reduce flare, make the ball move sooner, and arc.  Remember though, a change in layout is likely to be only a secondary influence after surface prep.

Kill the back row (or maybe this should read "make your spares, dummy")

I have a R W that I love. It will never be polished--Im afraid that the ball wont roll as well. So you can tell what my suggestion is---take off the polish.
