kegel middle road shot
« on: November 17, 2008, 11:38:02 AM »
hey guys, can i get some tips on how people who are lower-rev play this pattern, just for reference we are on AMF HPL's
--------------------
Im so glad people are brainwashed to think that TRACK sucks. And its even funnier when im carrying with my TRACK ball and they''re going flat ten with their OTHER BRANDS ball.

the shot is a med length shot stay around the ditch and adjust from there dont leak it right and dont yank left caues if u miss right see ya its going to sail for miles and if u yank left have fun hitting the 2-4 pocket

and since u rev it a little less (being generous on that haha) then most players ur ball reaction wont be tooo extreme so stay in the track area i say 8 will prob be your best bet on this shot

people say it plays like a house shot but longer and tighter because of more volume

k thanks guys again and  what i have to throw is an av solid and awe finish. im thinking of starting like 8-5 if i can. the problem i should ask though is which is better, switching balls and staying straighter? or moving in?. or if i can move out would that work good also? my best line is outside of 5 so im gonna try that also in practice.

We've had the Middle Road pattern as standard pattern in our house since the end of September.

Normally, straighter is greater on our lanes (Brunswick Prolane). On the fresh, getting your shot rolling parallel to the boards has worked well. On the gutter, that means laying the ball down on boards 2 or 3 and staying there past the arrows. Playing inside of board 15 has generally meant lower scores than outside.

We used the Kegel Infinity conditioner the first five weeks. The main transition issue with Infinity was carrydown. Now we've been using Kegel Prodigy for almost two weeks. With Prodigy, the main transition comes in the midlane as this conditioner seems move to the side rather than cause problems downlane.

no bump u have to hit in if anything if u want to keep this shot playable other people are going to break it down so just watch what others are doing and do what is working for the majority of people
