Well, if you're looking for cheap and good, Why not throw in a Brunswick Goliath for heavy (I think it's most bang for the cheap oil monsters), and then like a Columbia300 Panic or Super Trooper for Medium, and then whatever for dry, like maybe a Visionary Slate Blue Gargoyle? (I don't keep up much on "dry lanes" equipment, cause I just use older equipment that's dead, and I gloss the BeJeezus out of it!) Case in point, right now my "scorched lanes" ball is a Storm El Nino 2000, pin above bridge, polished so it shines like the top of the Chrysler Building (sorry, watched Annie a few days ago).

PS...one last thing, the guy that drills my equipment can get any ball he wants from the shop, and for dry he uses an Ebonite Ice, a RotoGrip Sonic X Pearl, and a Columbia300 Super Trooper.

I hope you mean the Razor Blade for heavy and not the Razor Wire from Storm. Sounds like a decent 3 ball arsenal, but I would agree with BigWillyStyle that you may wish to consider a Columbia Flipside Panic for the medium slot, it may also handle medium-light depending on the drilling. I tell you when the mid lane reaction was super strong at one of the houses during the Lilac last weekend, the Panic pulled me through.

I am trying to do the same--come up with a cheap arsenal. Here is what I am thinking...Columbia based.

Heavy-Hyde...or for a few $$$'s more Shock
Medium-Panic
Light-Scout Urethane...double duty as spare ball

bought off the internet (Eleventh Frame for Prices) but drilled by a Pro...around $350.00 for everything including shipping. Could be a bit more depending on drilling preferences.

add $35.00 more if you want to take the Super Trooper for dry--like others have suggested. I happen to already own the Scout.

Gotta throw in the Dyno-thane arsenal...

Heavy: Think Lives (fantabulous ball)
Medium: Vendetta Black (pimptacular)
Light: Crisis Pearl (like buttuh)

You can probably get these three for around $350 or so, shipped.

if you can afford four balls:

brunswick mvp goliath
brunswick mvp nemesis
brunswick mvp punisher
brunswick power groove dry/r

these four balls would cover almost any type of lane condition you're liable to see. plus, they're relatively inexpensive. the mvp series balls can be had for $87.50( plus shipping ) and the power groove can be had for $60( plus shipping )at www.buddiesproshop.com
