Choosing a Ball
« on: July 05, 2008, 03:38:55 AM »
Ok this ball isn't for me. Need to find a ball for an extremely low track borderline spinner. She carries 175-180 average over a few leagues. She currently uses an old Danger Zone and a Jazz but neither one has much pop on the back end. Shes in the pocket all night and hates the 8-10s that she leaves. She carries better Brooklyn than in the pocket. With all this random info, I was thinking a week asymmetric core with a length layout. Trying to have the ball rev up on its own to drive out atleast the 8 or the 10. None of this probably helps but any suggestions would be appreciated

Honestly, I'd spend the money on coaching rather than a new ball if she's willing.  Staying behind the ball and getting it into a harder roll will do infinitely more for a good ball reaction and good carry than trying to work around a release that's very prone to deflecting.

Well, in that case, my buddy who has a spinner type of release has good luck with equipment like the Storm Attitude Shift, Morich LevRG, Storm Gravity Shift...  seeing a trend?  He needs strong covers and strong cores to make the ball rev up.  He usually opts for pretty strong pin up drillings.

Yeah I was lookin along the lines of a Gravity shift since I can't find many of the Agent line NIB.
