Lane#1 Booth at the USBC's in Vegas......Cancelled!!!!!

I regret to inform everyone that with a mutual agreement between myself and Richie that the 2009 Lane#1 booth will be cancelled....

With the economy in the state it is in we have agreed that the large investment of the USBC booth can and will be better utilized in a different way to help advance the company.

It was a very difficult decision to make as we know it will hurt many loyal customers that were waiting to buy their new Lane#1 equipment in Vegas but this was the decision we had to make and stand behind..

For anyone interested I still have ALL the spec cards from LAST years booth in Albuquerque and will honor any of the booth prices I was going to have. If you have your own specs I will also honor the prices for you..

I will post them shortly in the Lane#1 For Sale forum...

Again our apologies for those that this decision has inconvenienced..

Sorry to hear of the booth not going to be there. Hopefully there will be no negative comments on here. The way the economy is I don't blame you guys for doing this. I just wonder how many others will do the same.

While people attending might not have as much disposable income.

This is the largest the tournament has been for years and larger than it will be for years

Yeah.  That is too bad.  Once again, it is all about the USBC and not the bowlers.  I understand the economy is not doing well.  But, like another poster said, it will be a record number of teams.

The fact of the matter is that the total expense is absurd and trying to take a chance in this economy is very risky. I was 100% possitive we would do great and profit quite well but the risk is just too high for me to gamble with my life for 6 months and Richie and Lane#1 feel the same way. It is a better decision for myself and the company to sit this year out..
