Balls that react like other balls
« on: September 14, 2009, 09:57:48 PM »
Strange title i know but ive been thinking about this today. Do you have a ball that seems to react like something good you saw yrs ago?

I'll give my example first

My Columbia Flipside Wicked(pin 3" from pap) reacts like an original Danger Zone

Can anyone else give other examples?

Bowling balls that react like other bowling balls of same-o are generally because of the lane condition.  The lane condition make them look the same.....though they maybe similar or close.

And another problem is: even if you have two balls of the same kind, different inner weight distributions (plus drilling, surface, age) can have very different reaction characteristics. It is IMO very hard to find a true replacement ball, if you are searching for a younger generation "doppelganger".

Now is this really any surprise for anyone outside of the kool-aid cult?  I mean just considering the company and reaction of ALL their stuff.
