Help with selecting a ball for my wife PLEASE

My wife is presently using a Brunswick BVP Nemesis polished and it's a little too strong for her speed (about 12 mph) and lower rev rate.  Her comfort zone is standing on twenty and throwing between 10 and 15.  She does not do well when she has to move inside.  I want to get her a new ball within the Ebonite family and am looking at the Track 505A and the Columbia Burst.  I think she needs something polished or a pearl for extra length but also something that will have a fairly strong back end.  
 
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A C300 Freeze with the correct drilling should work just fine. Great ball at a very good price.

I drilled a Midnight Vibe for my wife that throws about the same way you say yours does, and it's one of the best looks she's ever had with a ball. 


That's just like, your opinion, man.

 I believe you are on the right track. If the polished Nemesis is too much, I onestly think I would lean to a strongish, highly polished pearl ball with strong backend characteristics.


 I got my wife a Hammer BURN, and she loves it. If there is decent head oil, the ball stays very clean (even with her slower speed), but really reads the dry backends well and finishes strongly. She doesn't like to play a big swing, and this ball allows her to stay inside the oil line and still get enough backend to carry, and it is only a 12lb ball.


 

 On a side note though, the cover seems to dull pretty quick and it picks up every dust/dirt particle it touches. After a 3 game set, it gets cleaned and needs it.

My wife also throw at about the same speed. She is currently using and Evil Seige and the 505 A. She has better carry and control with the Evil. The 505 has more back end than she can control. They both have similar lay outs.

The 505A is a lot more ball and a lot more A(ngular) then I expected. I would recommend something like the Midnight Vibe, Freeze, or 300C from the EBI family or something like the Avalanche Green/Black or Damage from Brunswick.

 

In any of these drilling and maybe some surface play will also play a big part, but the ball will be much closer to what is needed.

Yeah I'd just go with one of the beginner balls, slingshot, avalanche pearl, freeze, whatever the weakest polished vibe is, tornado, anything along those lines.

Midnight Vibe is a great ball!!! Backlash is a great ball but doesnt handle oil well....505A is also a great ball and does have a ton of backend. The midnight vibe is the most contollable IMHO...

Thanks for the input.  A friend of my wife who bowls on the same lanes and is a very good bowler,  had a Freeze and, even after several surface adjustments, she could never get it to do anything.  So I don't think I can talk my wife into a Freeze.  The reason I mentioned the Track 505A is that I have one.  It is very angular in box condition but I roughed up the track area with a 4000 pad and it is much easier to control.  I thought if I got her one of these we could drill it with the pin low so it will grab earlier and maybe not snap so much on the back end.  Also I'll look into the Hammer.
 
What do you think about the Columbia Burst?

 The Burst is going to be a pretty stong ball for a 12mph ball speed bowler. Even polished it will need good oil to get down the lane.
