another 2 handed question
« on: April 04, 2009, 12:41:16 PM »
So I am doing well 2 handed so far.  I have found that on the left lane I am spot on, on the right lane I can't get right enough with my feet.  So I have been doing 2 handed on the left lane and 1 handed on the right lane.  731 Last night after a 268 with 2 hands on both lanes.

The obvious is to use a less aggressive ball or a less aggressive drill.  Would a plastic ball in this situation work?  I throw the ball about 15.5-16, 1 and 2 handed.  I plan on developing my core power to bring my speed up to 17-18 over the summer.

Any other suggestions so I can continue to enjoy doing two handed on both lanes?

thanks in advance

without seeing a video....

i would assume you need more spine tilt to get the ball to float through the mids
straighter elbow at release to increase ball speed.

again, i would need a video to know for sure

What prevents you from moving your feet further right on the right hand lane?  --  JohnP

Move your feet in front of the ball return....part of being a modern power player is getting around the ball return.  If you constantly downshift core/covers to stay right you will never be successful consistently.
