If you really are having to repeatedly delete posts made by some users, why bother to continue to do so?

 Is there not some way to identify people and ban them permanently?  If there is, why not do so to these repeat offenders?

Was just wondering.  Lots of posts, by several users, have been deleted lately, with claims that these users were repeatedly abusive of the site and certain other members here.

  People like that need to just let things go. Heck, it's just a public website, not the Holy Bible. People should just be content to let others be who they are.  If you don't like them, or disagree with them, that's fine, just don't talk to ( or mess with ) them.

  If they can't "let things be", they need to be banned.  Not everybody is interested in the bandwidth being jammed with that crap.

In general I favor a limited censorship situation but I suppose it's better not to let things run rampant like they do in other boards like PBA and USBC. I hope I'm right that deleted posts are done for violation of sign-up terms and not just because of someone's right to an opinion.

Most of what I did get to see was because of some of the language being used by one person.

PBA and USBC seem to allow almost anything to be said. At least this board seems to be checked by moderators once in a while.

Very little. Well maintained forums are out there but this one will not be one of them and  bowling.com is not going to sell this site.  They won't sell it to an entity that will maintain it.  To bad for the bowling community as a whole.

Good moderation (members that actually use the sites multiple times during a 24 hour period) and well structured sections are of prime importance and this site will never have that until another owner comes along I don't see that happening.

You guys are complaining about posts getting deleted... if you keep posting the EXACT SAME THREADS over and over again, do you think eventually they will just leave them be?

If I was the moderator of this site, I would delete these threads too...

I would not be at all suprised if it was the posters themselves deleting the posts...

Come on guys, move on.. stop the argueing and get back to talking BOWLING!

That's the point this website has become a politics/religion and young ignoramus's forum.  Bowling is what this site is supposed to be about but the minority of doofusses has made it a poor site.

Maybe somebody/a mod or whoever got tired of it.  Too bad it's already gone to far too rein in everybody now.

I don't really know what you mean by the "truth", but with some of the content (language) of mostly your postings (not all) I can see and am glad to see your post's deleted.

You joined on here 5-31-09 and have constantly caused trouble, and most of that with Lane 1.

Your constant reposting of this is unbelievable, if you don't like Lane 1 or Beans, so what, leave it forget that, and move on with your life.
