Last night i shot 818 scratch for 3 games i went 290 the front 9 279 4 20 strikes in a row and then i shot a 249

In 1977 in Germany, using a dick weber 5 star and having a scorekeeper that signed and dated the score sheet, I shot 300,300,289,300 in a 12 games set were I averaged over 260 (in practice). 5 years later he wrote an article for the stars and stripes (military publication) telling of this day ( I was 16 at the time and bowling in adult leagues.)
