High Team Scratch Game and Series

What are some of the high scratch team games and series that your team has bowled?  2 weeks ago our monday night team went 1264 game and 3538 for series.  I went 784, my teammate went 776, a 703 and the other 2 were 650 and 630 i believe, something close to that.  How bout you guys?

My single "serious" team has struggled this year after the past 2 successful seasons.  Our team average has slipped from 1010 to 980 and we seem to struggle to put 1000 on the board.

Even so, I believe we shot 1220 early in the year and have posted 3350.

The good news might be that we haven't come anywhere close to stooping our low game of 756 from last year.

1289 & 3684.

Both on the same night and both are city records.  No sub-200 games and I had 300.

Our 4-man team shot 2920 with a 1061 team game the second game earlier this year.

3,478 is the highest team series I've ever been a part of.  That was a fun night!

Trio league game 807 and series 2795 4 game league pretty good night i am sure not close to any records though.

bowler 1 - 191 avg 713
bowler 2 - 132 avg 499
bowler 3 - 171 avg 517
bowler 4 - 190 avg 730
bowler 5 - 184 avg 819

3902 hdcp series.  Won the series by almost 600 pins.

184 average shot 819??  267 pins over average?  Has this suddenly turned into the "tall tale" thread?  That's incredible.  Last week in our Wednesday league, a guy w/195 average shot 792.  258 with the last eight, 266 with the first nine, and 268 his last game for a whoppining 207 over his average.  He cost himself two rings with the first ball in the tenth his second game.  But 267 over?  Wow.  Freakin' wow!

my 4 person mixed team, with an average right around 800, shot 1002 scratch last year.

High scratch team game was 1204 in a tourney last year.  We did that with our leadoff bowler shooting 149.  We finished with a 3365 series.

My highest for a 4 man team was 1012.

Yeah that 819 was me and my high set.  It was a mixed league on a Friday night and I have a few beers so my average was about 20 below my commercial league.  And that 819 was 32 strikes with a foul 7 on a double.

On our three man league we had a team beat our old high of 2179 I had 768 that night and the other guys had 7somethings.  But the other team tossed a 2305 with one guy tossing an 859 series 280-300-279.  Which happens to be house and county record

One handicap league I bowled in a few years back had a rule that for the first 3 weeks you had to bowl based off your previous years book average. I was coming in at 213 or something like that. In week 1 I shot 564. (188 average, 28 or 29 pins of handicap per game---90% of 220) I shot 832 the 2nd week. I would have had 916 if they didnt have the 3 weeks rule.

All Im saying is strange things can happen. It is odd to have an entire team go off like that. How far into the season was that 3900?

The highest team set Ive been involved with was a 1281-3523 last year. The following week we had over 2400 after 2 but the pair got a little odd and we fell off a bunch. We wanted to shoot 3600, but it wasnt meant to be.
