Highest ball speed witnessed?

What is the fastest you've seen someone throw a ball (as scored by Qubica or similar)?

Last night I watched Rev_O shoot a 10 pin at 29.5 MPH. The pin was run over, then came flying back towards the approach. Ended up about 1/2 way between the foul line and the pin deck. Crazy part is...the ball was set down smooth as any regular delivery.

31mph from a guy at a tourney last year. He did it both right and left handed. Smooth as silk delivery too.

Take a vid of the 650+ rpms to prove him wrong!!! .....650+ rpms sounds sexy.....

I have no idea how fast the fastest ball I've seen thrown, but same thing as novawagonmaster ... the 10-pin came flying out to around 35-40ft in the gutter.

I saw one guy on my league, a over the head backswing cranker shot a 10 pin so hard it went out on the middle of the lane and it keeped squirling in the oil backwards and after a minute at least it seemed it finnaly got slower...meanwhile he's urging it to come his way....to the point where it was reachable for him to grab it and reach over the foul line.

He picked it up and started yelling and screaming. It was hilarious. It was during league and I think he took it home and kept it as a soviener insted of giving it back to the house! One of the unbelivable things I've ever seen. Everyone stopped bowling pretty much and looked in awe, then laughed at the situation when he grabbed it.

Fastest I have seen is 36 mph (at a 10 pin) in person.  The fastest I have watched is 41 mph for a strike shot (this was Walter Ray on a C.A.T.S)

I highly doubt walter ray can launch a 41mph rocket down the lane.  Fastest I've witnessed is a kid that used to bowl for Texas State go 30.62 to make the big 4.

41? Isn't the fastest ever recorded like 38 by Rob Smith? Sounds like some tall tales to me...

eugene mccune at a pro-am.  this kid asks him so i hear u can throw the ball really hard.  can u do it so i can see how hard u can throw the ball.  um needless to say i think they had to replace the pin because he probably cracked it.
